Chris Cordaro, Partner, CIO and Wealth Advisor has been named to Barron’s 2019 Top 100 Independent Financial Advisors. The ranking reflects assets under management, revenue the advisors generate for their firms, and quality of their practices. Investment performance isn’t an explicit criterion because clients pursue a range of goals. In many instances, asset preservation is the primary one. Advisors who wish to be ranked complete a lengthy survey about their practice. Barron’s verifies that data with the advisors’ firms and with regulatory databases and then they apply their rankings formula to the data to generate a ranking. The formula features three major categories of calculations: (1) Assets (2) Revenue (3) Quality of practice. In each of those categories they do multiple subcalculations. Ranked 84 of 100, Chris is also the only New Jersey advisor.
*Important Disclosure Information: The 2019 Top 100 Independent Financial Advisors ranking system is proprietary to Barron’s. Investment performance isn’t an explicit component because not all advisors have audited results and because performance figures often are influenced more by clients’ risk tolerance than by an advisor’s investment-picking abilities. The Barron’s ranking may not be representative or indicative of any of Chris Cordaro’s or RegentAtlantic’s clients’ past or future experience or future investment performance with Chris or the firm. Chris Cordaro did not pay a fee to participate in the Barron’s rankings; however, he completed a survey and provided the information to Barron’s to participate in the ranking. Barron’s did not disclose the number of advisors who submitted surveys. Note that the Total Asset ($mil) listed in the Barron’s ranking is the Total Assets ($mil) managed by RegentAtlantic as a firm and not by Chris Cordaro individually.
